10:30AM-2:30PM Parkinson Foundation of the Heartland Wellness Class

Join the Parkinson Foundation of the Heartland for an hour of specialized exercise instruction for people with Parkinson's. Participants will eat lunch with friends and enjoy the remaining time with planned recreational activities. Caregivers are encouraged to use this time for respite.

Learn to assist victims 9 years of age and older. You'll learn CPR, choking management and rescue breathing with hands-on manikin practice. A participation card is included with each booklet. 9 Years and older are eligible for this class.

If you live with or care for someone with pain, diabetes, breathing issues, heart issues or the effects of a stroke on a daily basis this interactive workshop is for you. This six-week interactive workshop will help you develop skills to live better with your chronic disease. We will be sharing and learning from each other ways to deal with fatigue, pain, physical activity, healthy eating, emotions and how to talk with your family, friends and health professionals.
