Join the Parkinson Foundation of the Heartland for an hour of specialized exercise instruction for people with Parkinson's. Participants will eat lunch with friends and enjoy the remaining time with planned recreational activities. Caregivers are encouraged to use this time for respite.

90 minute presentation by Registered Dietitian/ Certified Diabetes Educator. Includes overview of Diabetes as well as risk factors, and practical lifestyle strategies that can prevent or delay onset of disease. Especially for those with family history of diabetes or diagnosis of prediabetes, "borderline"" diabetes, impaired glucose tolerance, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, metabolic syndrome or insulin resistance.
Cost: $30/person or $40 per two family members. All participants will receive a free One Touch Ultra-Mini blood glucose monitoring sytsem.
